This is not a victory blog post by any means, but one of exceeding grief and disdain at the occurrence of such a crime against CHILDREN. While this incident (or incidents) has come to light, there are many more cases like this one that have happened. If you don't speak up for the children, then who will defend, protect, and advocate for them? Please pray for all children in this organization...for healing, for deliverance, and for an authentic encounter with the Savior of our souls, Jesus Christ.
If you have been abused, and you are reading this post, God can help you overcome this. Be part of and advocate for your healing by...
REPORTING THE PERPETRATOR TO AUTHORITIES ( The culture of HOPCC fosters this conduct, allowing the offender to thrive and abuse someone else). Find a way to get help!
Acknowledging your pain
Seeking God's help
Embracing forgiveness (sometimes in the absence of an apology)- forgiveness doesn't let them off the hook, but it sets you free from the bondage of bitterness
Renewing your mind with Scripture
Nurturing SUPPORTIVE communities that will help you heal- ANYONE WHO DEMANDS YOUR SILENCE OR DENIES YOUR RIGHT TO GROW IS NOT SUPPORTIVE
Trusting in God's sovereignty and redemption
Remembering God's love
Allow yourself the space to grieve. FORGIVE YOURSELF FOR THE TIMES THAT YOU FROZE
God knows. Please know that EVERYTHING that has something to do with you concerns Him. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted."
We pray for Semexant, and we pray for the victims of this circumstance. If you need help, please reach us at any time.
